Kashauna White's work experience includes their most recent position as a Patient Health Advocate at Somatus, where they focus on supporting high needs Chronic Kidney Disease and End-Stage Kidney Disease populations. Kashauna White has a diverse education history. In 1996, they obtained certification as a State Tested Nursing Aide from the State of Ohio. Kashauna then attended Miami Valley Career Technology Center from 1996 to 1997, pursuing a degree in Allied Tech Prep with a focus on Health Services/Allied Health/Health Sciences.
Afterwards, they enrolled at Wright State University, where they completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Sociology from 2006 to 2011. Following their bachelor's degree, Kashauna pursued further education at Wright State University and obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Applied Behavioral Science from 2012 to 2013.
In terms of certifications, Kashauna obtained CPR/AED/First Aid certification from the American Red Cross in March 2023. In September 2013, they obtained the CITI - Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative certification from the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative at the University of Miami. Additionally, Kashauna obtained certification from the Hospice and Palliative Nurses Association (HPNA) through the National Board for Certification of Hospice and Palliative Nurses Association (NBCHPN) in September 2013.
