Azatui Ekizyan

Aza Ekizyan has extensive work experience that spans over two decades. They started their career as a Bridal Sales Coordinator and Sales Manager at Junes Bridal in 2001. During their time at the company, Aza was responsible for managing the order cycle, identifying growth opportunities in the bridal market, and implementing a salesperson training program.

In 2004, Aza joined Washington Mutual as a Teller and Customer Service Representative. At this role, they educated customers on the use of banking websites and mobile apps, handled inquiries about account balances and transaction history, and referred customers to appropriate representatives for cross-selling opportunities.

After that, Aza worked as an Underwriting Assistant at Arch Insurance Group starting in 2005. Their responsibilities included assisting the Surety-Regional Underwriting Manager with account processing, supporting multiple underwriters with a $7 million book of business, and communicating with agents and owners.

Currently, Aza is employed at Sompo International as a Senior Underwriting Assistant and serves as the Team Lead for Underwriting Assistants in the Account Underwriting department. Their job involves overseeing the underwriting assistant team and contributing to account underwriting activities.

Azatui (Aza) Ekizyan obtained an Associate of Arts degree in Business from the University of Phoenix in 2007, followed by a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from the same institution in 2009. Later, in 2015, Aza completed a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management, also from the University of Phoenix.
