Jessenia Vazcones-Yagual currently serves as Senior Claims Counsel at Sompo International since December 2023, focusing on claims management. Prior to this, Jessenia held the position of Manager, Executive Risk at Crum & Forster from April 2020 to November 2023, specializing in Directors and Officers (D&O) and Employment Practices Liability (EPL) claims in the U.S. Jessenia's experience also includes roles at OneBeacon Insurance Group as a Claims Consultant, Liberty International Underwriters as a Senior Claims Specialist, and Epiq Systems as a Contract Attorney, with each position further emphasizing expertise in analyzing and managing complex claims. Jessenia's legal career began with internships and externships in various roles, including positions with the Legal Assistance Foundation of Metropolitan Chicago, the Center for Justice and International Law, and the U.S. District Court. Jessenia earned a Juris Doctor in International Law from Chicago-Kent College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Queens College, CUNY.
