Michelle L. Wood

Michelle L. Wood has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Michelle L. most recently worked as Vice President of Business Development at Sompo International since 2020. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Vice President at Marsh from 2018 to 2020, where they were responsible for small commercial, consumer, and InsurTech sectors. Michelle also worked at Mercer as a Principal in Strategy and Business Operations, where they focused on growth markets from 2016 to 2018. Before that, they served as a Senior Associate in Corporate Strategy at Mercer. Michelle has also had experience in the non-profit sector, serving as the Director of Alumni for Minds Matter from 2014 to 2017. Lastly, they worked at Marsh as a Vice President in various capacities, such as Sales Operations Lead, Global Sales Operations, and Private Equity and M&A (PEMA) Advisory Services, from 2006 to 2015.

Michelle L. Wood holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from New York University. Michelle L. has obtained additional certifications as a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) from the Scrum Alliance and as a Licensed P&C and Personal Lines Insurance Broker in the State of New York from the State of New York Department of Financial Services. Michelle L. has also completed The Fordham Center for Nonprofit Leaders Executive Education Program, offered by Fordham University Graduate Schools of Social Service & Business Administration.
