Jason Vella

Jason Vella has a diverse work experience in the field of psychology and mental health. Jason started their career as an Addictive Behaviours Telephone Counsellor at GSK in 2003. Jason then worked as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor and Professional Services Manager at Konekt from 2006 to 2009. Jason then joined MAX Solutions and held various roles including Health Service Officer, Health Team Leader, State Manager, Operations Manager, and General Manager Health from 2008 to 2016. Jason then moved to Injury Treatment as the Psychological Services Manager from 2016 to 2018. Jason joined Medibank Health Services in 2018 and served as the Head of Mental Health Programs and Strategy until 2022. Currently, they are the Head of Psychology at Sonder, starting from 2023.

Jason Vella attended the University of Sydney from 1996 to 1999, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology. In 2000, they pursued further education at the same university and obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Science (Psychology).
