Alex Duda

Director of Machine Learning at Songfinch

Alex Duda has a diverse work experience in the field of artificial intelligence and machine learning. They currently work at Songfinch as the Director of Machine Learning. Prior to that, Alex held various roles at Northrop Grumman, including as a Staff and Senior Principal Artificial Intelligence Engineer and as a Senior Principal Research and Development Engineer Scientist. They were responsible for leading algorithm test beds, machine learning thrusts, and academic collaborations. Alex also worked as a Principal FTL Systems Engineer at Northrop Grumman, where they supported DARPA efforts and served as an expert on cognitive systems. Earlier in their career, Alex worked as a Graduate Researcher at Sandia National Laboratories.

Alex Duda's education history includes a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, obtained in 2015. Prior to that, Alex completed a Master of Science - MS in Applied Mathematics from the same university in 2009.
