Zoran Melis

Zoran Melis has a strong background in software engineering and development. Zoran started their career in 2004 at Viva Grupa d.o.o. where they worked as a software engineer, developing inventory tracking software using C# and platform-independent RAD tools. In 2005, they joined Docte d.o.o. as a software engineer and project lead, working on platform and database-independent RAD tool development using C and C++. Zoran also had responsibilities in system administration and data processing using Python and shell scripting. In 2008, Zoran co-founded Tardigrada and focused on web and mobile application development using PHP, Python, and C++, as well as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for web components. Zoran joined Google in 2011 as a software engineer, contributing to various projects until 2014. After that, they worked as a freelance software engineer, specializing in full-stack single page web application development using JavaScript and Node.js. Most recently, Zoran worked at Toptal as a software engineer before taking on the role of software engineer team lead at SonicCloud in 2016.

Zoran Melis completed their Master of Science degree in Computer Science from FER - University of Zagreb from 1998 to 2004.
