Russell Grissett

Russell Grissett is the current Vice President of Global Flexible Packaging at Sonoco. Russell has been with the company since April of 2019 and has been in various leadership positions since then. Prior to their current role, Russell served as the Division Vice President and General Manager of Sonoco Protective Solutions from January 2013 to May 2017. In this role, they were responsible for Sonoco's Protective Solutions group, which had sales in excess of $500MM. This included divisions such as Consumer Durables and Molded Foam Components focused on the appliance market, ThermoSafe focused on temperature-assured pharmaceutical packaging, and Automotive Components.

Before their time at Sonoco Protective Solutions, Russell served as the Division Vice President and General Manager of ThermoSafe from December 2007 to November 2010. In this role, they were responsible for Sonoco's global marketing efforts. Russell has been with Sonoco since December 2005 and has held various positions within the company.

Russell Grissett attended Auburn University and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering.

Russell Grissett reports to Jeff Tomaszewski, VP, Global Rigid Paper, Closures, Display & Packaging. They work with and Ernest Haynes - VP, Rigid Paper Containers - North America.
