Umang Gupta

Umang leads the project management activity at Sonosine and works with the team to help develop the EMA technology on the path to commercialisation.

He is a former commercial director & investment advisor for a platform of the global investment firm KKR. He has just under a decade of experience working in technology and commerce, managing complex projects in tightly controlled and regulated sectors.

A seasoned project manager, Umang specialises in working as project lead. His areas of focus are asset management, commercial and contracts management, operations, and administration.

He has worked in collaboration with Intel and the University of Vienna, contributing to international research in manufacturing non-carcinogenic, green, and sustainable PCB components.

Umang’s Masters dissertation was on Image Processing of thermal fluctuations in bio-membranes. He has an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) and a Bachelors & Masters degree from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT).
