Kim Lambe

Lead Animator at Sony Interactive Entertainment

Kim Lambe has a diverse work experience in the animation industry. Starting in 2012, Kim worked as a Team Member at Jamba Juice. In 2013, Kim joined San Jose State University BFA Animation/Illustration Gallery Committee as a Gallery Committee Member, where they were responsible for organizing the final art gallery for 71 Animation and Illustration seniors. In the same year, Kim also interned at Electronic Arts, where they contributed to polishing and tuning animations for NBA Live, using software such as Autodesk MotionBuilder and Maya.

In 2014, Kim's career progressed as they joined Electronic Arts (EA) as an Associate Animator, focusing on cleaning up motion capture data and enhancing animation quality for the NBA Live team. They then transitioned to Sony Computer Entertainment America, where they worked as an Animator for a short period in 2014.

Kim's longest tenure has been with Sony Interactive Entertainment, where they started as an Animator in 2014. From 2016 to 2019, they served as the Lead Animator, and more recently, they held the position of Senior Animator from 2021 to 2022. Currently, Kim is working as a Lead Animator on God of War Ragnarök and is also involved in an unreleased title.

Kim Lambe earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Animation/Illustration from San Jose State University, where they attended from 2008 to 2013. Additionally, they participated in a program called CSU Summer Arts, focusing on Understanding Your Character for Feature Animation. The specific years of attendance for this program are unknown.
