Martin Vivies

Martin Vivies has a diverse work experience spanning over different companies and roles. Currently, they are the Head of Delivery & Ops at SOPHiA GENETICS since June 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Software Engineering Manager at SOPHiA GENETICS from June 2021 to June 2022.

Before joining SOPHiA GENETICS, Martin worked at WarnerMedia as a Software Engineering Manager from March 2018 to June 2021. Martin also had a significant tenure at Turner Broadcasting System as a Senior System/Software Engineer from May 2014 to March 2018.

Martin's experience extends to Price Induction Inc., where they worked as a System Engineer & Project Manager from April 2011 to May 2014. During their time there, they led a team in the development of the DGEN Engine MATLAB/SIMULINK model, designed an electronic module for engine sensors and actuators, and developed a health monitoring module for the DGEN engine.

Martin's earlier career includes a role as a System Engineer at ALTEN, where they worked from October 2009 to March 2011. In this role, they focused on communications protocols, demonstrators, and embedded systems while working for MBDA.

Martin Vivies obtained a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2007 to 2009. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) and Master of Science (MS) in Electrical and Computer Engineering from CentraleSupélec from 2004 to 2007. In November 2016, Martin also obtained the Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification from the Scrum Alliance.
