Richard Teal

Richard Teal has had a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Richard started their career at Boeing in 1981, where they worked as an Engineering Manager for almost two decades. In 2000, they founded CoreTrace Corporation and served as its Senior Vice President of Research until 2012. From 2012 to 2014, they worked as a Senior Architect at Lumension Security Inc. Currently, they hold the role of Chief Architect at Sophos, where they have been working since 2014.

Richard Teal has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, which they obtained from 1979 to 1983. Richard also holds a Master of Science (M.S.) in Aeronautics and Astronautical Engineering from the same institution, which they earned from 1983 to 1984.
