Jason P. Dunn is the current Chief Operating Officer at Sorenson Communications. Jason has a long and varied work history that has given him a wealth of experience in customer service, management, and operations.

Jason began their career in 2000 with American Airlines as a Customer Service Manager and Compliance Coordinator. In this role, Jason was responsible for supervising employees and ensuring customer satisfaction while also balancing operational efficiencies. This included budgeting, payroll, headcount reports, employee evaluations, scheduling, and maintaining exceptional customer relations. Jason also helped oversee daily operational activities in Salt Lake City. In addition to these duties, Jason was also responsible for auditing internal control, fuel, environmental, cargo, ground security, and preventive maintenance for the airline. Jason also oversaw vendor contracts, maintained OSHA logs, and handled Workman’s Compensation claims.

In 2004, Jason left American Airlines to join Sorenson Communications as their Director/Vice President of Operations. In this role, Jason was responsible for all Sorenson Video Relay Service (SVRS), Sorenson IP Relay (SIPRelay), and Sorenson VRS Canada operations. This entailed volume forecasting, staffing levels, and operating efficiencies. Jason was also responsible for the strategic management and operational oversight of the company’s business lines in order to provide streamlined operations, reduce operating costs and ensure greater profitability.

In 2010, Jason was promoted to Chief Operating Officer of Sorenson Communications where they continue to oversee the company’s day-to-day operations. Under Jason’s leadership, Sorenson Communications has become a leading provider of video relay services for deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals across the United States.

Jason P. Dunn has an Executive Program for Growing Companies from Stanford University Graduate School of Business, a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations from University of Utah, and an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Utah State University Eastern.

They work with Ivonne Valdes - Chief Product Officer & EVP, Business Development, Brian Breinholt - Chief Human Resources Officer, and Niel Nickolaisen - CIO. Jason P. Dunn reports to Jorge Rodriguez, CEO.
