Bill Raab is a Senior Scientist at Sorrento Therapeutics, Inc. since January 2023, focused on developing cell assays for cancer treatments. Prior to this role, Raab completed a postdoctoral fellowship and served as a Graduate Research Assistant at Columbia University Irving Medical Center from September 2014 to May 2022, where work included developing predictive biomarkers and utilizing CRISPR/Cas9 for drug screening assays. Raab also held leadership roles at DiscoveRx from June 2006 to July 2014, managing molecular biology projects and training team members, and worked as a Research Assistant at Stanford University School of Medicine from November 2004 to March 2006. Raab began a scientific career with a Bachelor's degree in Biology at Stony Brook University and earned a PhD in Pathology and Cell Biology from Columbia University.
