Jila Hosseinkhani, Ph.D.

Jila Hosseinkhani, Ph.D. has had a varied work experience since 2009. Jila began as a Research and Development Assistant at the University of Tehran in 2009. In 2010, they were a Visiting Research Fellow at Universität Rostock. From 2011 to 2014, they worked as a Software Developer and Researcher at the Iran Telecom Research Center. Jila then moved to Carleton University, where they were a Research and Development Assistant and Teaching Assistant from 2014 to 2019. Jila was also a Lecturer and a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the same institution during this time. Currently, they are a Senior Data Scientist- AI Architect and a Data Scientist- AI Architect at Sortera Alloys, Inc. since 2022.

Jila Hosseinkhani, Ph.D. completed their Doctor of Philosophy - Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Carleton University. Prior to that, they earned their Master's Degree, M.Sc. in Electrical and Telecommunication Systems Engineering from the University of Tehran. Jila also holds a Bachelor's degree, B.Sc. Honours in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology - Tehran Polytechnic.
