Ilya Chernukha

Ilya Chernukha has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. From 2014 to 2019, they worked as a Senior Audio-Visual Technician as a freelance producer and audio engineer. From 2016 to 2019, they worked as an Audio-Visual Supervisor at Auckland University of Technology. In 2019, they joined Mitre 10 as a Service Desk Technician, providing IT support for a large retail business. In 2020, they became a part of Soul Machines, starting as an IT Support Engineer and later taking on roles such as IT Support Product Owner and IT Support Manager. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Information Technology at Soul Machines. Throughout their career, Ilya has demonstrated strong leadership and technical skills in managing IT operations and implementing improvements in support services.

Ilya Chernukha has a diverse educational background. In 2013, they began their studies at Avondale College Auckland and received their NCEA level 3, University Entrance, and the Most Deserving International Student Award in 2013. From 2013 to 2016, Ilya attended SAE Institute, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Audio Engineering (Level 7). During their time at SAE Institute, they also completed a Diploma in Audio Engineering (Level 5) in 2014.

In recent years, Ilya has focused on continuous education in various areas related to IT. Ilya has been undertaking courses in IT, Project Management, Security, and Cloud without a specific degree mentioned. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications to enhance their skillset. In 2018, they received the CompTIA A+ certification from CompTIA, and in 2021, they obtained the CompTIA Project+ certification. More recently, in 2022, they acquired the ITIL 4 Foundation certification from PeopleCert and became an ICAgile Certified Professional in People Development from ICAgile.
