James Foster M.D.

James Foster MD, MBA, CPE, FRCPC has a vast and extensive work experience in healthcare leadership and anesthesiology. James has held prominent roles such as Regional Medical Director at Sound Physicians, Chair of Anesthesiology at UPMC Chautauqua, Chief Medical Officer at Bay Area Medical Center, and Chief Medical Officer at Women & Children's Hospital of Buffalo. Throughout their career, James demonstrated their expertise in providing high-quality patient care, overseeing medical staff, and implementing strategic plans to enhance operational efficiency and patient safety.

James Foster MD, MBA, CPE, FRCPC completed their Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree at Queen Mary University of London from 1980 to 1985. James then obtained their FRCPC in Anesthesiology from The Royal College of Physicians of Canada in 1992. Following that, they earned a Diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology in 1996. In 2005, they completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) at Canisius University. Most recently, they obtained a certification in Medical Management (CPE) from the Certifying Commission in Medical Management in 2018, focusing on healthcare.
