Shannon Cook

Shannon Cook, CEC, is a seasoned culinary educator and manager with extensive experience in culinary instruction and program development. Currently serving as a Culinary Instructor at South Seattle College since September 2023, Shannon previously held the same position at Seattle Central College from September 2019 to June 2023, where responsibilities included teaching foundational culinary courses and adapting instruction for remote learning. Prior experience includes roles as Regional Culinary Manager and International Princi Training Lead at Starbucks, where Shannon developed training programs for global locations, and Culinary Program Manager at Sur La Table, focusing on course content and quality standards. Additional teaching experience at Le Cordon Bleu and PCC Community Markets highlights a commitment to culinary education. Educational credentials include degrees from the California Culinary Academy and an intensive pastry program at Kondietoriet Tivoli Pastry School.
