Geraint Thomas Cpfa

Geraint Thomas CPFA has extensive work experience in the finance sector. Geraint started their career in 1987 with Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council, where they held various finance positions until 2000. Geraint then joined the South Wales Fire and Rescue Service as a Management Accountant. Over the years, they progressed within the organization, holding roles such as Finance Manager, Head of Finance, Procurement & Property, and currently serves as the Director of Corporate Services, a position they have held since June 2021.

Geraint Thomas CPFA completed their education history in chronological order. In 1980, they attended Dumbarton House School Swansea where they studied for five years. Later, they enrolled at the University of South Wales and obtained a degree in Chartered Institute of Public Finance & Accountancy in 2004. Following that, in 2015, Geraint pursued a postgraduate degree in Sustainable Leadership from Cardiff Metropolitan University. Lastly, they completed their education in 2018 by studying Organizational Leadership and achieving an ILM level 7 Executive Coaching certification from the University of South Wales.
