Ryan Kleinschmidt

Ryan Kleinschmidt has extensive experience in project and operations management within the mining and resources sector. Currently serving as Project Director at South32 since June 2014, Ryan oversees the production and maintenance of complex processing operations and product handling systems. Prior to this role, Ryan held various positions at BHP Billiton for nearly 18 years, including Acting Vice President Operations and Manager Maintenance, managing large-scale manganese ore production and maintenance operations. Ryan's background includes overseeing major maintenance contracts, enhancing business processes, and supervising multidisciplinary teams. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from CQUniversity, obtained between 1992 and 1995.
