Linzi Whitton

Linzi Whitton has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of dance and event management. From 2017 onward, Linzi has worked as a Programme and Studio Manager at South East Dance Ltd, where they are involved in managing a program to introduce dance to various marginalized groups in the community. Linzi is also responsible for developing a community steering group, volunteering program, artist-in-residence projects, and an annual community-curated dance festival. Prior to this, Linzi worked as an Event Manager (Performance and Dance) at Southbank Centre starting from 2011. In this role, Linzi was in charge of delivering a vibrant and diverse program of events, from newly commissioned works to touring productions. Linzi has also gained experience as an Assistant Producer at Dance4 from 2007 to 2011, where they focused on new commissions, artist development, festival management, and managing shows, installations, and workshops across the Midlands.

Linzi Whitton attended Kings School in Ottery St Mary from 1997 to 2002, during which no specific degree or field of study is mentioned. Later, from 2004 to 2007, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) degree in Dance at De Montfort University.
