Young Professionals Program Coordinator at Southeast Michigan Community Alliance

Danielle Funderburg is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in workforce training and youth development. Currently serving as a Workforce Training Coordinator at Southeast Michigan Community Alliance since August 2021, Danielle focuses on coordinating certificate training, career-readiness programs, and paid work experiences for youth and young adults. Additionally, Danielle has held the position of SEMCA Young Professionals Program Coordinator at the Wayne County Regional Educational Services Agency since July 2017 and served as a Board Trustee at Fundesign 2 until February 2024. A freelance graphic designer, Danielle has operated a creative design business and previously served on the Board of Trustees for Romulus Community Schools for three consecutive terms. Danielle's experience also includes teaching and counseling in the Junior Fire Cadet Summer Program through various organizations and community relations coordination at St. Vincent and Sarah Fisher Center. Danielle earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Oakland University.
