Amanda Forrester

Amanda Forrester, MFA, currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Creative Writing and Coordinator of the Creative Writing Program at Southeastern University since July 2021. In addition, Amanda holds the position of President for the Florida Literary Arts Coalition, Inc. since January 2021. Prior to current roles, Amanda worked at Saint Leo University from July 2012 to July 2021 in various capacities, including Program Administrator for the Center for Alternative Pathway Programs and Special Projects Manager/Analyst. Amanda's earlier experience includes administration with the School District of Hillsborough County from May 2004 to June 2012. Amanda earned a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from the University of Tampa and a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Saint Leo University, along with an Associate of Arts in Education from Hillsborough Community College.
