Kyle Groves

Kyle Groves is a seasoned culinary professional with extensive experience in the restaurant industry. Currently serving as a Culinary Instructor at SAIT Polytechnic since October 2014, Kyle has also been the Executive Chef at Catch Restaurant & Oyster Bar since 2010, where notable achievements include guiding the restaurant to multiple annual awards and overseeing a brigade of 20-30 culinarians while managing a $4.5 million operation. Prior experience includes a role as Jr. Sous Chef at Capo restaurant, contributing to its recognition as the #2 best new restaurant in Canada by EnRoute magazine, and serving as Sous Chef at Earls Restaurants, where responsibilities included managing food and labor costs, implementing corporate menu rollouts, and training culinary staff. Kyle holds a Red Seal certification in Culinary Arts/Chef Training from Mount Royal University and Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT).
