Richard Woodard

Richard Woodard has over 9 years of work experience in the energy industry. Richard started their career at Nicor Gas in 2007, where they held the role of Sr. Manager of Field Operations until 2012. Richard then became the Director of Regional Operations at Nicor Gas until 2016. Since 2016, they have been working at Southern Company Gas as the Managing Director of Project Management. In this role, they are responsible for developing and executing large-scale infrastructure improvement programs and projects. Richard works closely with engineering and construction to oversee Nicor Gas' Investing in Illinois program, the largest infrastructure modernization effort in the company's history.

Richard Woodard studied at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 1981 to 1986, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering.
