Miguel Alva

Miguel Alva is an experienced engineering professional specializing in mechanical and project management within the mining and construction sectors. Currently serving as the Ingeniero de proyectos de inversión at Southern Peru Copper Corporation since July 2022, Miguel previously worked as a Supervisor de QA QC at SSK - Una Empresa Sigdo Koppers and has been with Grupo JJC as a Supervisor Mecánico since December 2015, overseeing mechanical operations at the new cement plant in Piura. Prior experience includes roles as Ingeniero Mecánico de Proyectos at Sigdo Koppers ICSK, where Miguel was responsible for the expansion of the Toromocho mine, and various supervisory positions in mechanical operations and construction projects, including work at Petro Perú Talara and the Marcobre Mina Justa project with Consorcio Cosapi- ICSK.
