Steve Whitman

Steve Whitman has over 35 years of work experience. Steve began their career as a professional football player for the San Diego Chargers Football Co. from 1980 to 1982. After that, they worked at Roadway Express, starting as an Operations Manager in 1985 and later becoming a Regional Sales Manager from 1993 to 1997. Whitman then joined YRC Worldwide, Inc. as the Director of Home Depot Corporate Support from 2000 to 2007. Steve also held the positions of Vice President Retail Business Solutions from 2008 to 2009 and Vice President Corporate Sales from 2009 to 2010 at the same company.

From 2010 to 2014, Whitman worked at Sparus Holdings, Inc. as the Vice President of Sales & Marketing, where they were responsible for driving sales revenue and managing a diverse portfolio of customer solutions. Steve then joined C.H. Robinson in 2014 as a Senior Sales Executive.

In 2015, Whitman started working at Southern Cross Corporation as a Sales Business Development professional. Steve joined PReMA Corp as an Executive Vice President in the same year, and later also joined HdL Companies in 2018 with the same position. Their most recent role was as an Executive Vice President of HdL Companies from 2018 to 2020.

Steve Whitman completed their high school education from Huffman High School from 1971 to 1975. Following this, they pursued higher education at The University of Alabama, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from 1975 to 1981.
