Victoria Aliprantis

Victoria Aliprantis has a diverse work experience spanning various healthcare organizations and roles. In 1997, they served as a Hospital Manager at Southern Cross Hospitals. Victoria then joined Waitemata District Health Board in 1999, where they held the position of Manager Surgical Services before becoming the Orion Redevelopment Programme Manager for North Shore Hospital. In 2003, they worked as an Espy Design Account Manager & Style Editor at M2 Magazine, where they oversaw the design and production of various magazines. In 2006, Victoria joined Southern Cross Healthcare Ltd, initially working as a National Quality Improvement Advisor. Victoria later became the National Clinical Quality and Risk Manager and eventually the Chief of Quality & Risk, with responsibilities including clinical governance, consumer experience, health and safety, and patient safety. In 2022, they became a Non-Executive Director at Manuka Street Hospital Limited and North Shore Surgical Centre Limited. Throughout their career, Victoria demonstrated leadership skills, expertise in quality and risk management, and a commitment to delivering high-quality care and patient safety.

Victoria Aliprantis has an extensive education history. In 1982 to 1984, they attended Wellington Polytechnic, where they obtained a Diploma of Nursing and specialized in becoming a Registered Comprehensive Nurse. In 1990, they pursued further education at Wellington Polytechnic and earned a Bachelor of Nursing degree. In 2007 to 2008, Victoria studied at The University of Auckland and achieved a PGDip Business Admin with a focus on Business. Continuing their education, they enrolled at the University of Otago in 2017 for a Post Graduate course in Health Systems Law Intensive. Finally, in 2022, they attended the Institute of Directors in New Zealand, undergoing the Company Directors Course.
