Carolyn Helm has extensive experience in education, primarily focused on improving learning outcomes in career and technical education. Currently serving as an Advanced Careers - Leadership Coach and Technical Specialist at the Southern Regional Education Board since September 1999, Carolyn Helm also holds the position of TCTW Lead Specialist, collaborating with state leaders and educators. Previously, Carolyn Helm was the Director of Engineering Curriculum Programs, contributing to the expansion of national school networks and establishing quality control procedures. From 1999 to 2013, Carolyn Helm worked as a Lead Specialist for Technology Centers That Work, delivering professional development to educators in the field. Carolyn Helm's experience also includes serving as the Director of Program Quality for Project Lead The Way from 1999 to 2010. Carolyn Helm holds a Bachelor's degree in Technology Teacher Education/Industrial Arts Teacher Education from the UGA Mary Frances Early College of Education and advanced degrees in Educational Leadership and Administration from Nova Southeastern University.
