Conrad Jones

Conrad Jones is an Associate Professor of Chemistry at Southern University, a position held since August 2006, where responsibilities include teaching general and physical chemistry courses and advising undergraduate students. Previously, Conrad served as the Assistant Professor and NMR Facility Manager in the Department of Chemistry. Additional experience includes roles as a visiting scientist at NASA Glenn Research Center, focusing on transition metal catalysts and advanced nickel materials for alternative fuel production in 2010 and 2011, respectively, as well as contributing to the development of potential energetic materials as a DHS visiting scientist in 2012. Conrad holds a Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy in Physical Chemistry from the University of Iowa and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Southern University.
