Jacob Cook

Jacob Cook is an experienced IT educator and developer currently serving as an IT Academy Instructor and Full-Stack Developer at Southern Virginia Higher Education Center since February 2020, responsible for the design and maintenance of a custom student information system. As the Owner and Lead Tech at Southside Tech Services LLC since February 2017, Jacob has overseen various hardware and software repairs and system configurations. Previously, Jacob held roles such as Accountant and Merchandiser at Crossroads Emporium and Flea Market and Datacenter Technician at Microsoft. With extensive teaching experience in mathematics from Bluestone Senior High School and tutoring positions at Southside Virginia Community College, Jacob combines technical expertise with a strong educational background, holding multiple degrees in Computer Science and Information Systems Technology from Old Dominion University and Southside Virginia Community College.
