John Briere

John Briere has been in the aviation industry for over 20 years. John started their career as a sales representative for General Binding Corp, then transitioned to American Airlines as the managing director of procurement and supply chain. In this role, they successfully migrated Oracle eProcurement system to Ariba aligning a user base of over 8,000 spanning across North and South America, Europe and Asia. John then moved to APS Holding Corporation where they were the territory sales manager for Western Pennsylvania. In this role, they transitioned customer owners over to new supply chain and parts program. John also advised on financial matters, inventory management and merchandising strategies. John Briere is currently the director of fuel supply at Southwest Airlines.

John Briere studied business administration and management at Northwood University, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA). John also holds Associate of Arts (AA) degrees in advertising and automotive aftermarket management from Northwood University- Texas.

John Briere reports to Michael AuBuchon, Senior Director, Fuel Supply Chain Management.
