Kevin Ballent

Kevin Ballent has extensive experience in the natural gas industry, currently serving as Manager of Engineering at Southwest Gas Corporation since August 2006. Kevin's expertise encompasses natural gas pipeline design, LNG operations, and measurement and control. Previous roles at Southwest Gas Corporation include Manager of Operations, Engineering Supervisor, and Distribution Engineer, where Kevin oversaw the implementation of a standardized MAOP spreadsheet, provided engineering support for outside contractors, and ensured compliance with regulatory requirements. Prior to this, Kevin worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Phelps Dodge, focusing on plant engineering and developing engineering reports and recommendations. Kevin holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Northern Michigan University.
