Eliot Young

Eliot Young has a diverse work experience that spans several prestigious institutions. Eliot began their career in 1995 as a Principal Investigator at the SETI Institute. In 1997, they joined the Southwest Research Institute as a Research Scientist and quickly advanced to the role of Senior Research Scientist. Young then took on the position of Associate Professor at Dartmouth College in 2001. Simultaneously, they continued their work at Southwest Research Institute as a Principal Scientist. Throughout their career, Young has made significant contributions to their field, demonstrating expertise and leadership in their various roles.

Eliot Young has a strong educational background in various fields. Eliot obtained an Sc.D. degree in Earth, Atmospheric and Planetary Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 1992. Prior to that, they completed an S.M. degree in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from MIT in 1987. Eliot also holds an A.B. degree in Physics from Amherst College, which they earned in 1984.
