Jeff Stoner

Jeff Stoner has over 30 years of work experience in the IT industry. Jeff currently serves as a Principal IT Specialist at Southwest Research Institute since June 2020. Prior to this role, they were a Senior Systems/Networks Manager at NIC-Colorado / Colorado Interactive from July 2012 to June 2020. Jeff also held the same position at NIC-Arizona from October 2007 to July 2012. Before joining NIC-Arizona, Jeff worked at IBM as a Server Build (BOS) Specialist from August 1999 to September 2007. Jeff began their career at Sunquest Information Systems as a Senior UNIX Support / System Integrator from February 1995 to August 1999. Additionally, they worked part-time as a Systems/Network Manager at Mt Wilson Observatory from October 1993 to August 1999. Jeff's early experience includes positions at Ellery Systems, where they started as a UNIX Admin/Programmer in October 1989 and later took on roles as a system and network administrator.

Jeff Stoner attended the University of Arizona from 1981 to 1986 and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Astronomy.
