Robin Canup

Robin Canup has extensive experience in planetary science and exploration, currently serving as Vice President of the Solar System Science & Exploration Division at Southwest Research Institute since March 1998. Previous roles at the same organization include Assistant Vice President and Associate Vice President of the Planetary Science Directorate, Institute Scientist, Executive Director, Director, and Senior Research Scientist. Additionally, Robin Canup was a Visiting Professor at Caltech's Division of Geological and Planetary Sciences for a short period in early 2005 and worked as a Research Associate at the University of Colorado Boulder from May 1995 to February 1998. Education includes a PhD in Astrophysics from the University of Colorado Boulder and a BS in Physics from Duke University.
