David Orrego

David Orrego has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. David most recently served as the Chief Growth Officer at Rocketfy, where they started in 2023. Prior to that, they worked as the Head of Content and Community - Consultant at Soy Startup Latam from June 2022 to November 2022. David was also a Brand Ambassador at SAP from March 2020 to September 2022. Another significant role they held was as the Research Manager I+D, North America at Meta from January 2017 to June 2022. Additionally, David has worked as a Strategic Partnerships Manager and Community Lead of Operations at Torre, a Partner & Marketing Ops and Product Manager at Peewah, and an Advisor & Mentor at Founder Institute. David has also held positions at Multiplica, Startup Weekend, and Facebook.

David Orrego has a background in marketing and advertising. David studied at Platzi, where they gained knowledge in marketing. David furthered their education at Politénico Grancolombiano, where they obtained a degree in Marketing and Advertising, specializing in public relations, advertising, and applied communication. In 2015, they attended the Servicio Nacional de Aprendizaje (SENA), where they studied Market Research and later specialized in Computer Architecture and Controls and Information Security.
