QA Lead at Space Ape Games

Carrie Gabriel has a strong background in the gaming industry, with experience in various QA roles.

Carrie began their career in 2009 at Sega as a Functionality Tester, where they worked on Sonic and Sega All Stars Racing and Aliens vs Predator, identifying bugs and gameplay issues.

In 2010, they moved to Lionhead Studios as a Games Tester, before joining Rocksteady Studios Ltd in 2011 to test Batman: Arkham City. Carrie played a crucial role in ensuring the game's timely release by running through the game quickly to identify any blockers and verify fixes.

Later in 2011, they returned to Lionhead Studios as an embedded tester for The Journey, taking on the responsibility of training colleagues, delegating tasks, and providing feedback to the developers.

In 2012, they became a QA Project Lead at Playfish, and in 2013, they transitioned to a QA Engineer role at both Mindshapes and Space Ape Games. At Space Ape Games, they eventually became a QA Lead.

Throughout their career, Carrie has demonstrated their ability to identify and report bugs, collaborate with development teams, and perform testing to ensure the quality of games.

Carrie Gabriel received their National Diploma in Computing from Greenwich University in Greenwich, London. Carrie pursued Games and Multimedia Development from 2005 to 2008. Prior to that, they attended Canterbury College for their GCSE's in Whitfield, focusing on English, mathematics, and technology. The specific duration of their time at Canterbury College is unknown.
