Shyamal Patel

Shyamal Patel is an accomplished aerospace professional with extensive experience at SpaceX, where roles have included Sr. Director of Starship Operations and various leadership positions within the Starship Operations team since January 2012. Prior experience encompasses internships at organizations such as Masten Space Systems, Boeing, Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems, and NASA. Shyamal Patel holds a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, complemented by minors in Mathematics, Space Studies, Homeland Security, and Aerospace Lifesciences. Additionally, advanced studies were completed at Florida Institute of Technology, acquiring a Master's degree in Space Systems, as well as an Emergency Medical Technician certification from Daytona State College.
