Pearlraj Peter Cannivady

Pearlraj Peter Cannivady has a strong background in marketing and ecommerce, with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Pearlraj Peter is currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Marketing & Ecommerce at SPAR India, starting in April 2022. Prior to this, they were the Vice President of Marketing & Ecommerce at the same company from June 2020 to March 2022 and Vice President of Marketing from January 2016 to May 2020.

Before joining SPAR India, Cannivady worked as a Senior Principal of Business Advisory at Manthan from November 2014 to January 2016. Pearlraj Peter has also held the position of Director of Marketing at Carrefour Group from May 2009 to August 2014, where they were responsible for brand positioning, creative and media strategy, marketing calendar, budgets, and communication.

Furthermore, Cannivady worked as the Chief Manager of Marketing at Reliance Retail from April 2007 to April 2009 and has prior experience as a Management Trainee to Manager of Operations at Future Group from July 2000 to March 2007. During their time at Future Group, they gained expertise in operations management, P&L management, people management and development, performance management, cost management, and store marketing. Pearlraj Peter was also involved in enhancing customer experiences and developing promotional strategies.

Pearlraj Peter Cannivady has an MBA degree in Sales & Marketing from IISWBM, which they obtained from 1998 to 2000. Prior to that, they completed a B.Sc degree in Economics, Mathematics, and English from St. Xavier's College between 1994 and 1997. Pearlraj Peter also holds a ISCE degree in Science from St Thomas Church School, which they acquired from 1992 to 1994. Pearlraj completed their ICSE degree from St Xavier's Collegiate School, Calcutta from 1989 to 1991. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained a certification in "Digital Strategies for Business: Leading the Next Generation Enterprise" from Emeritus in the year 2022.
