Tessa Field, MS, CGC has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Tessa began their career as Head Athletic Trainer at Pentucket High School / Northeast Rehab Network in 2003. From 2004 to 2009, they held various management positions at EF Education, focusing on customer relations and recruitment. In 2010, they joined Edimer Pharmaceuticals, where they served as an Office Manager and Business Operations Manager, managing day-to-day operations and overseeing corporate identity. During their time at Edimer Pharmaceuticals, they also worked as a Manager of Clinical Outreach, leading outreach programs and education campaigns for rare genetic diseases. In 2014, they briefly worked as a Licensed Genetic Counselor at Boston Medical Center | Genetics Oncology. Tessa then joined Boston University School of Medicine in 2015 as a member of the Masters in Genetic Counseling Program staff. Finally, since 2017, Tessa has been working at Spark Therapeutics, Inc., initially as Patient Advocacy Lead and currently as Director of Patient Advocacy.

Tessa Field holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences and Athletic Medicine from the University of Vermont. Tessa also has a Master of Science degree in Genetic Counseling/Counselor from the Boston University School of Medicine.
