Christopher Witte

Christopher Witte has over 12 years of experience in data science. In 2008, they began their career as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at The University of Melbourne. In 2010, they moved to FMP Berlin as a Postdoctoral Fellow. In 2017, they joined Science to Data Science as an S2DS Data Science Fellow and ScottishPower as an S2DS Data Science Fellow. In 2018, they began working at FlixBus as a Data Scientist, where they developed and integrated machine learning solutions and implemented techniques for explaining complex machine learning models. In 2019, they joined Bunnings as a Data Scientist. In 2020, they began working at SparkBeyond as a Principal Data Scientist and APAC Data Science Lead.

Christopher Witte's education history includes a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics from the University of Melbourne between 2005 and 2008, as well as a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) with Honours / Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) with Honours in Physics and Computer Engineering from the University of Melbourne between 1999 and 2004.
