Roey Tzezana

Roey Tzezana has a diverse work experience, beginning with their role as CEO of Blazing Science - מדע אחר in 2009. In 2014, they became a Fellow at the Yuval Ne'eman Workshop for Science, Technology & Security at Tel Aviv Univetsity. From 2015 to 2016, they were a Researcher at the Blavatnik Interdisciplinary Cyber Research Center, and in 2016 they became Co-founder of TeleBuddy, a robotics services company providing robotic tele-presence services worldwide. In 2017, they were a Senior Advisor at the World Future Society and a Scientific Advisor at 2key - The New Sharing Economy. Roey also held the role of Senior Scientific Advisor at Obvislim in 2017. In 2018, they were Lead Researcher at XPRIZE and Visiting Professor at Shakarim University. Most recently, they became Futurist & Head of Methodologies at SparkBeyond in 2021.

Roey Tzezana received their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biology, General from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology between 2001 and 2005. Roey then continued their education at the same institution and received their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Nanotechnology in 2011.
