Rob Budny

Rob Budny is an accomplished mechanical engineer with over 15 years of experience in the renewable energy sector. Currently serving as VP of Sales for Renewable Energy at SparkCognition since May 2021, Rob's expertise encompasses the design, manufacturing, and operation of wind turbines. Prior to this role, Rob co-founded Ensemble Energy, where Rob acted as Chief Operating Officer and leveraged AI and machine learning to enhance clean energy production. As President of RBB Engineering, LLC, Rob provided comprehensive engineering consulting services, including mechanical design and failure analysis. Earlier career highlights include managerial roles at Clipper Windpower, overseeing engineering teams focused on gearbox and drivetrain systems for wind turbines, and working as a structural analyst at Northrop Grumman Mission Systems.
