Lauren Efird

Lauren Efird has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Lauren began their career in 2005 as a Research Assistant at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. In 2008, they worked as a Field Campaign Organizer at Oceana before transitioning to a role as a Business Development Associate at Clean Currents in 2009. Lauren then joined SolarCity in 2011, where they served as a Solar Energy Consultant, Project Development Manager, and Senior Manager of Commercial Channel Sales. In 2016, they became the Director of Partner & Project Development at Sol Systems. Lauren joined Southern Company in 2019 as a Subscription Manager, working with the New Ventures Team on the Southern Company Technology Subscription. Most recently, they held various positions at Sparkfund, including Director and Senior Director of Business Development before becoming the Associate Vice President of Business Development in July 2021.

Lauren Efird completed their Bachelors of Science degree in Environmental Science and Biology from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Lauren attended the university from 2006 to 2009.
