Rajtantra Lilhare

Rajtantra Lilhare has a diverse work experience in the field of data science and research. Rajtantra began their career as a Senior Research Fellow at the Indian Institute of Technology, Gandhinagar in 2014. Rajtantra then moved to the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur in 2015, where they continued to work as a Senior Research Fellow. During this time, they were involved in an ITRA project in the Agricultural & Food Engineering Department.

In 2015, Rajtantra joined the University of Northern British Columbia (UNBC) as a Ph.D. Research Scholar. Rajtantra worked in this role until 2020 and also served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, conducting GIS labs for third-year and second-year students.

In 2019, Rajtantra took on the role of Digital Ambassador at the Centre for Teaching, Learning, and Technology at UNBC. Rajtantra worked in this position until 2020.

From 2020 to 2023, Rajtantra worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Northern British Columbia.

Currently, Rajtantra is employed as a Data Scientist at Sparkgeo, where they started in July 2021. Rajtantra has held this position for at least a year and also concurrently holds another Data Scientist role at Sparkgeo, which they started in May 2022.

Rajtantra Lilhare's education history is as follows:

- From 2015 to 2019, they attended the University of Northern British Columbia (UNBC) and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Water Resources and Climate Change.

- From 2011 to 2013, they attended the Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS), Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) and earned a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) degree in Remote Sensing & GIS.
