Graeme Marshman

Engineering Project Lead at Spartan Controls

Graeme Marshman has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Graeme began their career as a Research and Development Technician at Hematite Mfg Div.Of Pavaco Plastics Inc., where they worked on part design and production settings for prototype automotive parts. Graeme then pursued research opportunities, first as a Material Development Researcher at the Royal Military College of Canada, where they focused on the production of porous carbon materials for hydrogen fuel cells. Graeme further expanded their research expertise as a Molecular Biology Researcher at the University of Notre Dame, working on a genetic modification research project related to blood coagulation disorders.

After their research endeavors, Marshman joined Purefield Upgrading (Pure Reserve) as a Technical Lead, where they worked on technical projects for the organization. Graeme then joined Strathcona Resources Ltd. as a Project Specialist, overseeing specific projects within the company. Marshman later joined Imaginea Energy Corp. as the Director of Innovation, Accelerator Fund, driving innovation initiatives within the company.

In 2014, Marshman started their own consulting firm, Marshman Consulting, where they served as the owner and provided consulting services to clients. Graeme then joined Spartan Controls as an Application Engineer, managing applications and technical support for the company's clients. Graeme later transitioned to the role of Engineering Project Lead, where they currently lead engineering projects within the company.

Graeme Marshman completed their education with a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Nanotechnology Engineering from the University of Waterloo in 2010. Graeme then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Chemical Engineering at the University of Calgary from 2011 to 2013.
