Sonja Garlick

Sonja Garlick is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in recruitment and legal practice. Currently serving as Attorney Search Director at Special Counsel since August 2013, Sonja previously worked as an Independent Legal Contractor, providing legal support in various areas such as landlord-tenant law, real estate, and family law. Sonja has also held positions as an Adjunct Professor at the Academy of Art University, teaching business law to aspiring artists, and as a Corporate Recruiter for Williams Lea, where procedures for full-cycle recruitment were developed. Early career experience includes roles as an Account Executive at Robert Half Legal and as a Corporate Litigation Associate at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP. Sonja obtained a Juris Doctor from New York Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Religion from the University of Florida.
