Veronica Smiddle

Veronica Smiddle is an experienced professional in development and marketing, currently serving as the Manager of Development at Special Olympics Southern California since September 2019. In this role, Veronica focuses on athlete-centric initiatives, coordinating local fundraising efforts through corporate sponsorships and individual donor cultivation. Prior experience includes serving as an Admissions Counselor at Robert Morris University, where Veronica was responsible for recruiting future students, and interning in various marketing roles, including as a Team Smiley Marketing Intern at Eat'n Park Hospitality Group and as a Marketing and Manager's Assistant at TravelCenters of America. Veronica also held the position of Creative Marketing Manager at Babette's Gowns, where marketing strategies and an annual fundraiser were executed. Academically, Veronica holds a Master of Science in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management and a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality and Tourism Management and Marketing, both from Robert Morris University.
