Our office, Capitol Periodontics - Roseville, is seeking a Part-time Dental Hygienist to join our busy specialty practice. 

Capitol Periodontal Group is looking for a professional and qualified individual to join our busy practice. We would like someone with a current and active RDH license that has Dentrix software knowledge but not required as well as laser experience.  Our new team member should be someone who is comfortable with Patient education and continually improving their skill set.  Has  a  friendly and kind personality and is invested in the patients dental health.

 

This position, 3-4-days per week in our Roseville location . The hours are 7:40-4:40 adjusted as needed. 8 patients a day, 60 minute appointments or 6 patients a day with a 2hr RP.

Your Responsibilities 

As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in maintaining our patient’s oral health and promoting overall well-being. If you are dedicated, detail-oriented, and have a passion for helping patients achieve excellent oral hygiene, we want to hear from you! 

Responsibilities: 

  • Perform thorough and accurate oral assessments to identify patients' oral health conditions. 
  • Clean and remove plaque, tartar, and stains from patients' teeth using various dental instruments. 
  • Administer local anesthesia to patients as required for dental procedures. 
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, including brushing, flossing, and using mouthwash. 
  • Provide personalized recommendations for oral care products based on individual patient needs. 
  • Take dental X-rays and process them for the dentist's evaluation. 
  • Apply preventive treatments such as fluoride varnishes or sealants to protect patients' teeth. 
  • Conduct periodontal charting and assist the dentist in identifying and treating gum diseases. 

As one of the essential members of our office, you will also help to facilitate/coordinate other office responsibilities as needed.

You’re a kind, passionate and collaborative problem-solver who is able to proactively adjust to shifting priorities and values the chance to make an important impact. You also have the following: 

  • 3-5 years of experience as a dental Hygienist. 
  • Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods 
  • Understanding of health & safety regulations 
  • Good computer skills 
  • Excellent communication and people skills 
  • A strong attention to detail 
  • Well-organized and reliable 
  • A high school diplomas  
  • Hygiene Provider State Licensure

Position Pay Range
$50$55 USD
